I had a mixed experience at The Embassy Sathorn. The location is fantastic, right near Lumphini Park and easily accessible to the MRT. However, the room was not as clean as I hoped, with some issues like the air conditioning not functioning properly and an outdated feel. Breakfast was decent, though a bit repetitive. I expected a bit more for the price.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious but lacked cleanliness. I noticed oil stains on the bedding and felt the dust under the bed. The absence of windows made it feel a bit dreary.
Service
7.0
The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. However, there was a noticeable language barrier that made communication a challenge at times.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a prime spot, close to Lumphini Park and the MRT. It’s on a main road, but I didn’t notice traffic noise from my room in the back.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a decent variety, including some warm dishes, but it became repetitive. The food presentation could improve, as items were displayed in large bowls and not very appetizing.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were basic. The fitness area had limited equipment and the overall maintenance of the hotel seemed lacking.

I had a mixed experience staying at The Embassy Sathorn during my trip to Bangkok. While the location was convenient with easy access to MRT stations and other amenities, the overall condition of the rooms left much to be desired. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were subpar, with dusty rooms and outdated decor. The breakfast options were also limited and got repetitive quickly.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were spacious enough and had potential, but they were poorly maintained and lacked windows, giving a claustrophobic feel. My bedding had stains, and the overall cleanliness was lacking.
Service
6.0
The staff were kind and accommodating, though they struggled with English at times. They did their best to address issues, such as refunding me for an unsuitable room, which I appreciated.
Location
8.0
The hotel is situated in a great area, about a 10-minute walk from MRT and BRT stations, with several shops and restaurants nearby. This made it convenient to explore Bangkok.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were limited and repetitive, lacking variety. The food presentation was concerning, with items left out in warmth, which affected my appetite.
Facilities
5.0
The fitness facilities were minimal, and overall, the hotel lacked amenities that could enhance the guest experience. There was a noticeable need for updates and cleaning in the common areas.

I stayed at The Embassy Sathorn for four nights, and my experience was a mixed bag. The hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk from Lumpini Park and the MRT station, which was perfect for navigating Bangkok. However, the room felt outdated and in need of renovation, and the cleanliness wasn't up to the mark. While the staff were friendly and helpful, especially during check-in, the overall experience left room for improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious but quite shabby, with no windows which made it feel claustrophobic. I found the bedding to have oil stains and there was noticeable dust under the bed.
Service

Staff were generally polite and accommodating, though there was a noticeable language barrier at times. Check-in was a bit slow due to the staff's unfamiliarity with the process.
Location
8.0
The location is where this hotel shines. It's centrally located on Sathorn Road, close to Lumpini Park and the MRT, making it easy to explore the city.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite basic and repetitive; I expected a bit more variety. The options were limited to a few fried eggs, rice, toast, and some fruit left in large bowls.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were limited, with only a basic gym. I wasn't impressed with the overall maintenance, and the internet connection had frequent interruptions.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at The Embassy Sathorn. The location is excellent and central, making it easy to get around. However, the building shows its age, and my room had some maintenance issues. Overall, I found it to be a budget option with its pros and cons.

Rooms
6.0
My room was basic but spacious and mostly clean. However, the air conditioning had issues, and some maintenance was needed—like a faulty toilet button. The overall smell made it feel a bit aged.
Service
5.0
The staff was polite and accommodating, but the service had its drawbacks. When I arrived early, the response was quite bureaucratic instead of welcoming. It could use some improvement in hospitality.
Location
8.0
The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the local MRT station. I appreciated having a 7-11 right across the street for convenience, and it's in a nice area away from distracting nightlife.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, especially if you're not keen on spicy food. The breakfast menu was repetitive and not particularly appealing, which was disappointing.
Facilities
5.0
Amenities like the fitness center felt underwhelming with only a few machines and dumbbells cramped in a narrow space. Laundry services weren't available on-site, which was a letdown.
